What Does These Chest X Ray For TB Indicate?
Hello doctor .... My husband is a tb patient....treatment is going on....after 4 months of treatment....my husband got his chest xray done....its showing... homogenous opacity at left base, silhoutting left costophrenic angle, part of left dome of diaphragm and tracking along left lateral chest wall- pleural effusion...wat does it mean??? Plzz xplain

It means – small collection of fluid, outside the lung – in the covering / between the lung and chest wall
It is often part of the Tb / and may not require any separate treatment, unless the size increases / - follow up is all that may be necessary
The treating doctor alone could conclude better, based on the total clinical picture
