What Does The X-ray Regarding Chest Pain Indicate?
Hi Doc, I just experienced sharp right chest pain followed by goosebumps on the right side of my head and down my whole right arm. I have been diagnosed with degenerative disk disease; xrays showed a slight bulge in the C7 disk. This has only occurred once before today. Should I make an appointment with my PCM?
A slight disc bulge at C 7 disk is not a concern, though you might have to limit your heavy physical activity.
The commonest cause for chest pain in the absence of cold and cough is gastritis followed by cardiac pain. These pains have typical characteristics and distribution but at times they can be atypical and also involve the right hand. It is always better to get your heart checked by the PCM. This is important because it has happened earlier and heart disease complications are preventable if treated on time.
