Hi Doc,my son who is5 years old just had his urinalysis test awhile ago. The results are as follows: Color:Yellow,Reaction:Acidic,Albumin: Negative,Appearance:Yellow,Sp.Gravity: 1.005,Sugar:Negative, PUS cells: 1-3 / hpf, Red cells:0-2 / hpf, Epithelial cells: ++ , Mucus Thread: rare, Crystals A. urates : rare..What does it mean?thank you.

I will advise you to kindly always mention the symptoms when you want the analysis of any test result. This urine report appears as perfectly normal. Very few pus cells are present normally also - high number is suggestive of urine infection.
