What Does The Report Showing "fetus Is Not 6w1d" In 8 Weeks Pf Pregnancy Indicate?
Hi Dr. I supposed to be 8 weeks last week but fetus measured 7w2d with no heartbeat. I went in this Tuesday (6 days later) and was told that there might be a heartbeat but fetus is not 6w1d. I need to do another ultrasound in 2 weeks. Is it possible the baby is alive but shunk? thanks.

Hi,I had gone through your question and understand your concerns. This phenomena some times occurerred due to under developed fetus or may be inappropriate evaluation by USG as it is common in this early stage. My opinion is you take tab Folvite 5mg od and tab Susten 200 bd for 2 weeks then evaluate by follow up USG,for better prognosis. If you have any query then you can contact me. Thanx.
