What Does The Liquor Amount Of 10.8mm From Sonogram Suggest?

Dear Sir, I am 20 years old and height 5.5" and weight 69 KG. I am 19 weeks 2 days pregnant. Yesterday I do ultra sonogram and as per report my liquor amount is 10.8mm. My Sonologist and Doctor said to me that the liquor amount is not adequate. So I am in very tension. Do you feel this require amount is less than adequate level? Pls advice me. Mentionable here when I do ultra sonogram before three weeks then the liquor amount was 8.4 mm and last three months my weight is constant. Thanks, shahin.

RHello dear,I understand your concern. In my opinion 10.8 of liquor is normal. But it will be good if it is still more.It is good that liquor level has increased from 8 to 10.8.Sometimes liquor amount decreases due to dehydration so take adequate fluids upto 3 litres. Also rule out any kidney abnormalities in fetus which cause low liquor.Nothing to worry. There are medications like arginine sachets to increase the liquor.
