What Does The Following Urine Analysis Report Suggest?

In my recent urine analysis, in the Microscopy section, it is written: Crystals/Ipf: Ca.Oxalate: Few . Last year, and two years ago, there wasn t this thing. I m 16 years old. My parents are extremely concerned about this Calcium Oxalate crystal, because there wasn t any crystals never before. I started to do fitness workouts about 2 years ago. From 3 weeks ago, I told my parents that I found a recipe of a homemade supplement in Internet, I told them the recipe, they bought the requirements and made that supplement for me. Since 3 weeks ago I m using it based on what have been said about how much and when to use it in Internet. The recipe: 500 grams of powder of raw white part of egg 500 grams of sugar 400 grams of milk powder 400 grams of curative wheat powder 5 table spoon of kakao powder Usage dose: 2 or 3 table spoon of it with milk with breakfast. 2 or 3 table spoon of it with milk 30 minutes before workout. 2 or 3 table spoon of it with milk instantly after workout. I used it like that, for 3 weeks. Now, I have two questions. 1: Does that few amount of Calcium Oxalate concern me? Should I increase or decrease anything that I eat? 2: Does that homemade supplement caused this? Is that supplement unsafe?

Ophthalmologist 's  Response
Hi,

Most probably it is due to the home made supplement. Such supplements have increased the risk of forming a calcium stone in kidney and urinary system.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care.

Regards,
Dr. Harshita, Ophthalmologist
