What Does The Following Ultrasonography Report Suggest?

Hi doctor, my LMP was on 25-may-2017 (I had periods) and had a internal scan today and the report s as follows: Menstural age - 11 weeks CRL - 14.1 mm 7 weeks and 5 days gestational age Cardiac activity absent Sonographic feature suggestive missed abortion. Will a HCG injection save my baby?

Hi,

I have gone through your sonography report and understood your concerns.

Unfortunately, the heart of your baby has not been developed yet (and it's too late now 7 weeks and 5 days). This means missed abortion. However, time is needed as sometimes, the age of baby is not the same as menstrual age.
That's why I think your doctor suggested HCG injection to help maturity of your baby.

You should follow the advice as given by your doctor. If still no cardiac activity, then, it's confirmed missed abortion. If this is true, uterine contractions you'll start to feel as part as abortion activity.
