What Does The Following Transvaginal Ultrasound Report Indicate?
Hello Ihave Had two transvaginal ultra sounds and a sonohystogram I have an enlarged uterus thickened endometrium no fibroid s or polups but something showed up had a negative pap and byopsey my Dr.does not thinkit is cancer because she said it usually shows more than one area and I had a negative byopsy I also have speratic episodes of abnormal bleeding . We are now doing d and c and hysteroscopy. Do you think it could pre cancer?
Thanks for your question on Healthcare Magic. I can understand your concern. I have gone through the ultrasound report you have mentioned. No, I don't think you are having any precancerous or cencerous growth. Thickened endometrium is mostly due to hormonal imbalance. So dilatation and curettege will reduce the thickness of endometrium. No need to worry for precancerous lesions. Hope I have solved your query. I will be happy to help you further. Wish you good health. Thanks.
