What Does The Following Test Report Suggest?

Brain impression Nonspecific white matter lesion, the ventricles are disproportionately dilated when compared with the external CSF spaces. Whilst this is most likely secondary to involutional changes and white matter atrophy, correlate for signs of Normal Pressure Hydrocephalus

Thanks for your question.

Whatever the changes mentioned in MRI report are most likely due age related changes in brain.

But it is important to correlate MRI findings with-
1) Age.
2) Symptoms for which MRI has done.
3) Associated conditions like diabetes, blood pressure, cholesterol problem, smoking which accelerate the age related changes.

Normal pressure hydrocephalus may have similar MRI findings.

Symptoms of Normal pressure hydrocephalus (NPH) are-
1) Dementia - Alteration in behavior and conscious level.
2) Urinary incontinence - involuntary passage of urine.
3) Ataxia - Imbalance while walking.

It will be better to consult neurophysician for detailed evaluation.
