General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

The ultrasound shows multiple small nodules in your thyroid gland what we call multinodular goitre. Nodules in the thyroid are small growth. These are many times not serious especially if there are multiple.

However, generally, a further test like thyroid tests and thyroid scan are needed for further management.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Mahboob Ur Rahman,
