What Does The Following Lipid Profile Report Indicate?
Hello There.. I am a 41 years old male and i am more of an anxiety person. No medications at all. I regularly go for my Lipid Profile in every 3 or 6 months. And i use Lipicure 10mg tablet (Prescribed by my Doctor) whenever needed. 4 days back, I got a my Lipid Profile as Total Cholesterol 259 and Triglycerides 98. My doctor has asked me to start Lipicure 10mg again for a month. But i want to try for 15 days only. Is there anything to worry? Please help..
As a first line management, you can try routine exercises like swimming and walking and avoid oily and fat rich foods, and check repeat the tests after two weeks, if the values are still on the higher side, you have to start on drugs like Lipicure.
