General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Lung nodules are of various types including benign (infection or inflammation induced and others), malignant (cancerous).

Type of lesion has to be confirmed with CT-guided biopsy to get the exact pathological diagnosis and further management plan accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Purva Patel
