What Does The Following Chest X-ray Report Suggest?

Hi, few weeks ago I was coughing a lot (it lasted over 3 weeks) and generally felt very week. I had xray that said There are prominent central bronchovascular markings in the infrahilar regions which may be acute or chronic. There is slight left hilar fullness. I got ZPack from my doctor and was ordered to take it for 5 days. No other follow up was ordered. I feel better, but I still feel week (it s been 2 weeks since I finished the meds), my back continues to hurt and I occasionally still cough. Is the Xray suggesting something more serious than the infection? Should I follow up in any way? Thank you.

Hi,

Thanks for your question on HCM

I do understand your pain and discomforts

As per your clinical X-ray report is concerned bronchovascular Markings are caused by lung vessels, mainly veins. It can happen in many chronic invective conditions. As there are lots of causes responsible for it, So you your treating doctor will co relate it with clinically.

Hope that helps
