I am researching melanoma of the brain for a friend who has a son with mets to his extremities. He had no symptoms except a flesh colored raised area near his ear. An MRI showed golf ball size lesion in the frontal lobe with several other brain lesions. He saw an oncologist but not sure of how they will proceed. I know the outlook isn t good. Any suggestions? Both of us are retired nurses but she has lost one child and cannot deal with looking for the info.
