What Does The Following Brain MRI Report Indicate?

Hi My 6 year old son had a brain MRI for headaches and frequent nausea and it showed fluid in mastoid bone and sinus cells inside bone. ( I believe that is what doctor said) He would like me to take him to ENT to look at MRI and treat. Can you tell me what this means? He called me after hours and I was relieved his brain was okay and didn't want to take more of his time to explain this. He said to make appointment with ENT soon. Is this like an ear infection or something more severe?

Welcome to health care magic.

1.The air cells are suppose to be clear of fluid in normal condition.
2.In case of mastoid infection / inflammation these cells are filled with fluid or blocked.
3.This condition is called - chronic / acute inflammation of the middle ear.
4.There is nothing much to worry about it, the ENT doctor will perform some simple tests for the hearing and might prescribe a course of antibiotics.
5.That will heal completely, it is commonly seen in this age.
