What Does The Following Blood Report Indicate?

I have male age 30, he does not have a history of Diabetes. He just had a lab work done for an insurance company. This lab work done was a non fasting ( Last meal was 10:30AM and the blood was collected at 1:30PM) The results showed a glucose of 131, Alk-Phosphate of 129 and a trig of 245, the A1C was normal at 5.3, and the rest of the labs were all normal. Is he an undiagnosed diabetic?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
The possibility of him being Diabetic is unlikey as per the reports. His random blood sugar and A1C levels are in normal range. As for the slight elevation in the levels Alkaline phosphate and Triglycerides, there are varied reasons apart from Diabetes. If such patient comes to my clinic i would like to check for the following
*Family history of Diabetes
*If he is addicted to Alcohol
*If he suffered any symptoms of viral fever recently
*If he suffered with Right abdominal pain with nausea or vomitings, suggestive of gall stones
If his main concern is about Diabetes, and if any of his parents have Diabetes, its advisable to get Glucose Tolerance Test done once in a year to rule out the possibilty of Diabetes.
Healthy lifestyle with Balanced diet and Exercise play key role in prevention of Diabetes.Hope this information was helpful to you.will be happy to answer your concerns if any.
