What does my kidney USG report indicates? My right kidney measure approximately 9.16*4.13cm and left one 9.46*5.00cm. Both kidneys are normal in shape and position. Parenchymal echotexture of both the kidneys are little altered with partial loss of CMD. No stone like echo, focal lesion or hydronephotic changes seen.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

This ultrasonography report suggests that you have no stone or any other abnormalities in your kidney. It also shows the dimensions of each kidney which vary from person to person. There is no CMD means that no chronic disease is found in USG. So we can say that both your kidney are normally functioning.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Nirav Nimavat
