What Does The Following MRI Report Suggest?

I had a report from an MRI. Multiple small Foci of white matter high T2 and flair signal nonspecific pattern. has stated that chronic small vessel ischaemic damage is most likely and if patient has underlying tissue condition as SLE then vasculitis would need to be considered in the differential diagnosis. I suffer with a lot of MS symtoms and have had another doctor sugest to check for MS. could you explain please.

Hello,

White matter opacities means there's is white matter disease. commonly seen in multiple sclerosis or vasculitis or connective tissue disorders etc.

Until examination is done it is difficult to say what it is.

Please check it out fundoscopy, ANA, C ANCA or P ANCA, Thyroid profile and serum b12 folic acid levels. etc.

Please consult your neuro physician he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
