What Does The Following MRI Report Suggest?

I was told by my doctor, after having an MRI on my right shoulder the findings was:Rotator Cuff:the supraspinatus tendon is completely torn at its anterior aspect with torn fibers retracted medially by about 2.5 cm along with mild subacromial/subdeltoid. the orthopedic dr. recommended operation. I would like to know is there is anything else could be done, before I decide to operate.

No, there is no medical management or any other option. Go for corrective surgery immediately to avoid any short term or long term complications.
