What Does The Following CT Scan Report Suggest?

My Dr received information from my CT Abdomen pelvis.w contrast results it says there is a reticulonodular opacity in the lingua which is new from prior exam and could be infectious or inflammatory what am I looking at? I went in for lower pain in below right rib.

Hi, I had gone through your question and understand your concerns.
This probably refers to thorax CT scan and you may mean lingula which is part of lungs This findings is sugestive of inflammatory changes and most important thin is that tumors are ruled out. everything else can be easily treated. Even if this is infection then it is small infection which will pass in 2 weeks of antibiotic course. So there is no reason to be worried.
