What Does The Fetal Scan Mean?
I am 34 years old, weighs 65kg. This is my first pregnancy. According to the scan done the results reads that the USS shows a gravid single foetus at GA 7 weeks+ 2days equivocal cardiac pulsation. Liquor volume is adequate. Internal Os is closed and adnexae appear free. The doctor suggestedbed rest and a repeat scan in 2 weeks to confirm viability. Please what does all this mean? The doctor also said there is a 50-50 chance. Please advice, am scared

1.It seems your fetal cardiac activity is not up to mark.
2.By this time there should be adequate heart beat seen.
3.In a followup scan, one can confirm the viability with normal cardiac activity.
4.Hope the best and get the scan done, chances are still there as there was activity.
