What Does The Absence Of A Fetal Node During Pregnancy Indicate?

Hi, I am priya frm hyd. I went to scan after pregnancy confirm. It showed me as twins in my 1st scan. One heart rate was 152 other was written as no foetal node found. Doctor told we can expect it after one week. We can go for second scan after 20 days. I am very eager to know whats gonna happen. Plz help me...

Hi,

Honestly speaking, no fetal node means no development of fetus in that sac. So you might be having only one live fetus. But better to get done repeat scan after 20 days to confirm this.

If repeat scan also shows no fetal node then you are having single pregnancy, not twin pregnancy.
