What Does Tenderness Below The Rib Cage Indicate?

for no apparent reason (ie) food,drink,ect. My abdomen to just below the ribcage will bloat-become tender to touch and then the abdomen will bloat. that part is not painful---just the upper ab. I I don t eat spicy foods or drink alcohol. What could be going on?

You have problem of tenderness below ribcage that may be because of gastritis or gastroesophageal reflux problem or other reasons.

Ultrasonograph is helpful for diagnosis.
Consult a gastroenterologist for further diagnosis and treatment plan.
Clinical examination of site and investigation give more information about it...
Start a treatment as per reason behind it..
