General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
You seem to have Trichimonal vaginitis. Your symptoms are typical. Tab Metranidozole (in dose specific to your age, health and severity of infection) oral/local would help. Treatment of both sex partners and abstinence till full cure are essential. Good vaginal hygiene with local application of ointment and vaginal pessary are needful on the personal front. Avoid sex. Good hand washing is needed. Please consult your gynecologist for more specific advice.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Vasudha Jayant Athavale, General & Family Physician
