What Does Swelling Under The Eye Indicate?
i have a hen approx 3 years old has swelling below one eye and a light yellow growth near beak that looks like a abcess plus light yellow tissue into side of mouth i have been giving her tetrcycline which has decreased some of the swelling is this an infection or could she have a worm or cancerous growth

Brief...It can be Herpes infection
Detailed answer...Herpes infection is a viral infection and can spread from elders to children by using same towels or can be infected with secretions of infected person.For treatment tab.acyclovir is used and ointment containing neomycin +polymycin B and hydrocortisone can be applied on crusted areas after getting checked in person by doctor.
