What Does Swelling In The Lower Abdomen Indicate?

1 week post op of hysterectomy. Two days ago I woke up to major swollen low stomach, raised red welt across my whole lower stomach, went to the Dr she started antibiotics, slightly raised white count of 11.9. Today I am having major sharp pain right under the right rib cage. Takes my breath away. What can it be?
