What Does Stabbing Pain In Groin Area After Prostate Surgery Indicate?

I had my prostate removed Aug 15th 2017 - davinci method. over the last few weeks I have started to develop extreme stabbing pain in the area of the vacated prostate. My surgeon said I had positive margins and will likely require radiation or some other additional treatment. He did not mention any form of pain that I would experience 2 and half months after surgery. The pain is extreme at times other wise just a dull roar.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

It is quite common after prostate surgery. As of now you can use analgesics/anti inflammatory combination like Aceclofenac/Seratiopeptdase for symptomatic relief. If symptoms persists better to consult a urologist and get evaluated.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,
