What Does Sharp Pain In The Lower Abdominal Area After Taking Vyvanse Indicate?

I just started taking Vyvanse 60 mg after taking Adderal 30 mg 2x daily for over a year. I m noticing a very sharp pain in my lower abdomen radiating into my left testicle, as well as a tingling sensation, almost burning in the tip of my penis. could if be a side effect of the meds? Or something more severe? I m a 22 y/o male.

Hello,

Abdominal pain can happen with Vyvanse use but not the burning and the tingling in the genital area.
It might be a good idea to have a visit with your doctor and have a urinalysis and an ultrasound to rule out a urinary stone that might be coming out. These might cause pain from the back that might radiate to the genital area. Other conditions like urinary infection might be diagnosed or ruled out with the urinalysis as well.

I hope I have answered to your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Kind regards,

Antoneta Zotaj
