What Does Sharp Pain In The Chest Indicate?

Hi. I have been facing gastric issues since I was a little kid and still it s troubling me. Now as a 24 year old I kinda masturbate 4 time a week but recently I am getting a sharp pain in the middle of the chest just right between my breasts. So I am worried is it just do to gastric problem or is it something serious??

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello there,
I can understand your concern and I am of the opinion that pain in your epigastrium may be caused by your gastric issues. Do you ever had any cardiac issues in your life? i would suggest you to take an ecg to rule out that far off possibility.
For gastric issues I would suggest you to increase intake of fibres in you diet, take abundant fluid intake, and be on antacid medication such as Pantoprazole etc.
Thank you
Dr. Ashish
