What Does Severe Pain On The Left Side Of The Upper Abdomen Indicate?
I have had severe pain in my upper left side area, similar to a really bad side stitch but just under my lowest ribs, for 3 days now. No medications ease the pain. I went to the ER 2 days ago for it, and the CT was clear as was the urinalysis. Should I be worries about this?

Since the CT scan did not show a structural reason for the pain, it may be related to the muscles or nerves in the area.
The use of a muscle relaxant and/or medication for nerve related pain, may be helpful to you.
Massaging the area and applying topical medication such as voltaren gel, may also help as well
