What Does Severe Pain In The Leg Joints Indicate?

I have severe joint pain were the top of my leg connects to my torso - I mean severe pain. I do have psoriatic arthritis but this is pain like no other. It impedes rising from a sitting position; walking; and sleeping. This has been happening for two + weeks.
