What Does Severe Pain Behind The Knees Indicate?
Having pain behind knee that is worst when full weight is placed on it. Also notice more pain when climbing steps. Had some discomfort for last two weeks, but have significantly increased within the last two days. Had some very minor swelling on inside area of the underside of knee which responded well with icing. Notice more pain when I try to do any pivoting or twisting motion. Also, bending the knee is painful and difficult.

This condition is called varicose veins. For this type of condition, you should use compression stockings legs tightly in order to pull your blood from legs.
