What Does Redness In The Abdominal Area Post Injury Indicate?
My 10 year old was horseplayj g with my 9 year old and was lushed sccideny and hoy her stomach on the edge of the couch she complained it hurt at first but then said she was better but I am worried about her hitting her stomach mid of hard I only noticed a little redness at first will she be ok or should I get her checked
There is no need to seek attention if your child is Ok. You just have to see the area where she got hurt.
If there is mild redness which is turning into black color you don't have to worry. a) The redness is because of the injury to the blood vessel which are just under our skin, this blood will be reabsorbed over a period of time. During this time the color changes from red to black.
b) Please apply ice over the injured area which will help in healing. c) Give her some fresh fruits which are rich in Vitamin C like kiwi fruit, Guava, oranges, strawberries.
