What Does Presence Of Yeast Smell In Urine Indicate?

My urine has a very strong yeast like smell. I was previously diabetic but lost a lot of weight and now have an a1c of 5.5. I have been off all medication- doctor s orders - since last spring. Urine tests reveal no infection. Should I be concerned?

hi
thank you for asking your concern. that is a very good thing of controlled diabetes with no medication. if you have burning urination and frequency then you must do urine examination and if not then you can do urine microscopy. it will be good if someone sees with eyes and not on machines. if he finds anything then treatment can be started. you can wait for it if you do not have any urinary symptoms. drink plenty water, eat oranges, lime water and wait for few days that will be alright.
