What Does Positive Elisa Test Indicate?

I'm 29 yrs old and pregnant for the first time. I had a positive for HIV Elisa test and a western blot with * xxxxxx0 The doctor said 15% of pregnant women get this result but still he scared me telling me it was very serious. I wasn't promiscuous and my husband gets tested frequently (he is military) and never had a positive result, but the doctor sure got me all confuse and worried. Can't I get some clarity as of what this means.

Thanks for the consult:
1. You mentioned that you are pregnant for the first time and had done hiv tests giving positive. Positive Tridot may get rarely when it is infected with other micro-organisms also but positive with Western blot test is highly suggestive with hiv infection because it is the confimatory test for hiv
2. So please take care of the baby health like taking rich of protein diet, multi vitamin tablets along with zinc, folic acid and iron tablets regularly along with hiv medications which can prevent the fetus not infected by hiv
3. Caesarian section is prefered than normal vaginal delivary and breast feeling will be avoided because hi can transmitted via breast milk
