What Does Placenta Posterior Upto The OS Mean In My Ultrasound Scan?

hi mam good afternoon. Now I am 32 weeks of gestation.this is my second pregnancy.First one is LSCS(2 years ago ). On scan yesterday, they told that placenta posterior upto the os. What does it mean mam?is there any chance for normal vaginal delivery ?

Hi I think you are having low lying placenta. It generally goes upwards with increase in gestation age. Repeat a scan at 36 weeks to see if it has moved 2 cm away from is or not. If not, you will need lscs for delivery. Otherwise you can try for a normal delivery. Hope it helps.
