What Does Placenta Is Low Lying Touching Internal OS Indicate?

hello, i m 21 weeks pregnant and suffered from little spotting in 16 weeks....doctor then advised me to take duphaston for a week and duvadilan retart also. after that when i went for an ultrasound in 20th week....i m advised to start duvadilan retard again and the doc has asked me to continue for some time.....my placenta is low lying touching internal os....is it ok?

thanks for your query....
the condition is type 2 placenta praevia as per your history and usg report....
it has chances of bleeding during the pregnancy but not the most dangerous type unless it is lying posteriorly...c-section is suggested if it lies posteriorly...
so my advice will b to continue pregnancy with the advised medications and do routine UGS at a regular interval....
