What Does Pain On The Bottom Of The Right Foot Indicate?

I have this pain on the bottom of my right foot. It doesn t bother my toes but it is right below the big toe like on the ball of my foot. It has been bothering me for several weeks. The pain is less on days and more on others. Any idea? I have tried several different shoes but nothing seems to help. I am on my feet at work 9-10 hours per day.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Given your history of standing long hours, the pain at the bottom of your foot may be due to a stress fracture or due to arthritis.

It may be advisable to have an x-ray of the foot to determine the cause of the pain and further management of the pain.

I hope this answers your query.
I remain at your disposal for further medical assistance.

Regards,
Dr. Antoneta Zotaj
