Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Since you have mentioned that you have to use your hands regularly to clean along with the symptoms you have mentioned it seems you have developed a condition called De Quervain's tenosynovitis. This is a condition that occurs due to overuse. I would advise you to rest your hand for a few days. Ice it twice daily and you can also take an over the counter painkiller like Advil, which will reduce the pain and inflammation. If you are not relieved in a few days then get yourself checked by an Orthopedic.

I hope that answers your query. Let me know if I can assist you further. Have a nice day.
