Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
If there is a slight pain in the area of the right upper abdomen, where the gallbladder or liver is, and shifts pain to the opposite side very slightly, what can that be? very slight pain for several days, sometimes even on the right lower back side and or left lower back or side.
As per your clinical history is concerned please follow like this - 1) Do a clinical examination by a gastroenterologist and do few investigations like CBC with differential, Ultrasound, and CT scan to confirm it. 2) If confirmed, it is due to stones then go for surgical treatments cholecystectomy. Do follow lifestyle modifications like this- 1) Don't skip meals. Try to stick to your usual mealtimes each day. Skipping meals or fasting can increase the risk of gallstones. 2) Try to lose weight slowly. If you need to lose weight go slow. Aim to lose 1 or 2 pounds a week. 3) Try to maintain a healthy weight. Obesity and being overweight increase the risk of gallstones. Work to achieve a healthy weight by reducing the number of calories you eat and increasing the amount of physical activity you get.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Uday Nath Sahoo
