What Does Pain In The Sinus Cavity Indicate?

I had shingle twice in 2009. now I have pain in my sinus cavity that brings me to tears every night. My pain doctor wants to take me off Hydrocodon 10/325 90 per month. I have been on it for 8 years now. it works fine for my acute pain. I am so scared to change to a none narcotic pain med. I tried everything before and nothing helped the pain is intense. should I look for a new doctor?
