What Does Pain In The Neck Indicate?

4 months s/p c6-c7 fusion and discectomy. New and worsening pain in entire neck, mid back, and now left leg with numbness. MRI shows C5-C6 new mild flattening of the right aspect of the spinal cord as well as new bone spur and narrowing of thecal sac. Why is this worse after surgery in a new place. Did not have this issue before surgery.
