What Does Pain In The Legs Indicate?
I currently have knee problems and at night I am experiencing pain that travels down my left leg to my foot. I also have been told that I am a diabetic. I am looking for some answers to what is causing this pain and what I can do to get rid of the pain.

In my opinion your symptoms may be due to neuropathic pain due to nerve involvement by diabetes .
It may also be due to nerve root compression at the spine.
A sensory examination or a nerve conduction velocity test may be done,along with MRI of the spine.
Control of blood sugars is also needed.
