What Does Pain In The Left Side Of The Abdomen Indicate?

I have been having a mild pain on my left side for a while now. It only happens when I am sitting. I take premarin, synthroid and a 75 mg. zantac every morning for acid reflux. I exercise and try to eat healthy. I am 5 ft. 4 ins. and weigh 125. I had a pap smear in Jan. and everything came back okay. I have had a complete hysterectomy.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
likely that you are having gastritis not controlled by ranitidine(Zantac) due to insufficient dosage of medication(75mg).

suggest:
1.cap omeprazole 20 Mg half hour before breakfast and dinner along with 150 Mg tablet of ranitidine(Zantac)for 1 week
along with hyoscine(buscopan/buscogast)10 Mg tablet twice a day along with omeprazole.
2best if you can take soft bland diet avoid pepper chilly spicy fried diet avoid soft drinks cofee tea citrus fruits fruit juices(natural and artificial)

3take diet a bit cold.cold milk helps at night.

hope this helps
