What Does Pain In The Knees Indicate?

My left knee is hurting. Specifically, when I stand or sit or walk the knee cap area hurts as does the inside. I previously had an MRI and x-ray, which revealed a slight right lateral meniscus tear and mild arthritis. I completed a round of physical therapy which helped with the pain for a while.

Hello,

If meniscal tear not improving with physical therapy and worsening pain then the arthroscopic surgical correction will be required. Consult an orthopedician for this.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
