What Does Pain In The Buttocks Indicate?

Hi. I am feeling pain in my ass especially when I seat down or at night when I sleep. I suffer also when I go to the toilet for a long call. I see a bit of pus on my asshole. It has been 3 days now. What can I do to heal? Can I apply fucidine or hydrocortisone?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
hello.
this is suggestive of infected hemorrhoids. not necessary they might bleed but they're quite painful. I would suggest you to use Lignocaine jelly which is an anesthetic. and also I would suggest to go for sitz bath. you have to just sit I'm a tub of warm water and potassium permanganate and it would help.

regards,
Dr Gunjan
