What Does Pain And Lumps Behind The Knees Indicate?

My left knee had an ACL repair about 13 years ago. Recently, I have felt a lot of pain and have had lumps on the back of my knee. I feel that now my pain has moved to the superior region of my calf muscle. First, I assumed it was a Baker s cyst, but now that the pain is in my calf, what are the chances that it s a blood clot? I don t have health insurance right now, so I don t want to go to the doctor unless I m going to die.

Hello.

Thank you for tge query.

Deep veins thrombosis should be always considered especially if you have varices on this limb.
If so, the calf should be painful with palpation and some hardness. At least d-dimers should be checked and if elevated, ultrasound done.

Regards.
