Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hi. I went onto Petogen on the 24th Feb to take my period away as it is heavy and leaves me feeling weak. I had a show night before last and then nothing. Now I have what feels like mild period pains. I need to know if this is normal or if I should see my Gynae. I would imagine my body would have some adjusting to do and this is the first issue I ve had. My next inj is due on the 19th May.
Yes mild abdominal pain is one of the side effects of Petogen. Irregularities in menstrual periods may also occur initially. But all these are reduced with time. You don't need to worry.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Pallavi M., Anesthesiologist
