What Does Nodule On Thyroid Gland Indicate?

Through a portable Xray machine brought into my home - an Xray of my throat was done. Next day I received a phone call from a nurse informing I had a 1cm nodule on my thyroid gland, which needed immediate attention by an Endocrinologisy, Ent doctor for a larynoscopy for a biopsy, ect. It s been 5 months and I still have not been seen yet. I do have most of the 10 symptoms and have had for some time now - always being misdiagnosed and led on a wild goose chase, or, being treated for a condition I actually don t have, and only continue to get worse. My air way has been constricted for sometime now. I aspirate, choke frequently, and, am unable to get even pureed cottage cheese down. My weight haS DROPPED TO 95 LBS., and I m 5 3 tall. Where can I find HELP!!!!!!!!!

Well come to HCM
Just plain x-ray would not be enough and this may not show the exact nature of nodule and it is advisable to get done the CT scan study and MRI some time radio scan may be helpful to know the thyroid function and nodules, then and then diagnosis would be confirmed, the symptoms that is being stated here does not seem to be relevant, hope this information helps, take care.
