What Does Negative Result In HPT With Delayed Periods Suggest?
Hi Dr, Last weekend i had unprotected sex and i bleeded as well during sex. My periods was about to come but i did not get it. It has been 1 week i did not got my periods After one week of having sex I did a preg test, it was negative. Still i did not got my periods Please advice what to do Thanks

Hi,
Sex while on the verge of getting periods is not likely to cause conception. You also had bleeding during the sex, which might be period which was lesser than normal. The HPT you did after one week of pregnancy would not diagnose pregnancy due to the sex referred in query. It might show pregnancy during sex in last cycle but that too was negative. So pregnancy test shows no pregnancy in last cycle.
